Formative, summative, and authentic assessments will be utilized in the K-12. The current grading system of the K to 10 shall be utilized, provided modifications must be done to fit with the distance learning model. In the SHS, the current grading system is applicable since competency-based or performance-based is already practiced in the unit.
Subjects for Grades 7-10 will be clustered by semester to allow students to concentrate and focus on fewer competencies for each subject; four or five (4 or 5) subjects for First Semester and four or five (4 or 5) subjects for Second Semester (G7-G10);
Senior High School subjects will be clustered into two (2) every semester.
A comprehensive exam will be administered at the end of the semester to assess the performance of the students in each subject.
Varied strategies shall be utilized in translating in-person curricular experience into distance learning.
For subjects requiring IMMERSION, particularly in the SHS, a virtual immersion set of activities will be prepared like modular activities with simulation or case studies. Courses with laboratory classes shall also devise a virtual activity for the students and follow assessment, as reflected in this policy.
Health advisory, guidance, and counseling will continue to be provided as part of the learning packets and through synchronous and asynchronous methods.
The school shall ensure that supplementary lessons and activities related to Catholic Faith and Ignacian Core Values will be given regularly.
